Introducing AHAIJ

The Africa Health Agenda International Journal (AHAIJ) is a fulfillment of the Africa Health Agenda International Conference 2017 (AHAIC) recommendation. The journal is currently hosted by Amref Health Africa to provide a platform for publishing peer reviewed scientific and best practice articles for advancing homegrown evidence for policy and practice solutions in health for Africa. We purpose to provide a platform of choice to scholars and practitioners in health to disseminate generated knowledge and field lessons; an opportunity for scholars and researchers from Africa to be visible regionally and globally, and to be a major source of information in health strategic planning and priority setting for Africa. Our key focus area is public health and the health systems strengthening for Africa. We invite YOU ALL: policy makers, governments, development partners, international agencies and institutions of higher learning in health to be a part of this opportunity to positively contribute to the search for solutions towards a lasting health change in Africa. You also have the opportunity to submit your short communication, commentary, case series, letter to the editor, conference report among others. Let's join hands in making Africa a healthy continent.
